Outlook 2007/2010 menus are in the wrong language
After installing the latest updates for Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010, some users were surprised to discover the language used for the menus and dialogs changed to another language. For example, the Italian now has menus in Portuguese and the Hungarian version has Swedish menus. Oops, someone built the distributions with incorrect language versions of OUTLLIBR.DLL in the language packages.
While Microsoft does not recommend removing the update, doing so will fix the problem. Alternately, users are reporting success with replacing just the OUTLLIBR.DLL file with an older version.
If you choose to uninstall the update (KB4011086 for Outlook 2007, KB4011089 for Outlook 2010), you’ll need to hide the update to prevent it from being reinstalled.
If you have an Outlook installation that has not yet been updated, you can copy OUTLLIBR.DLL to affected computers. In 64-bit Windows, Outlook 2007 users will find OUTLLIBR.DLL at C:\Program Files (x86)|Microsoft Office\Office12\[language id]
and Outlook 2010 users will have it at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\[language id]
; In 32-bit Windows, go to the same path under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\

The Custom Forms bug is back
After installing the June 2017 update, custom form users discovered code behind the form and some controls did not work. This was fixed… and is broken again.
The cause of problems this time is intentional: Microsoft disabled form script functionality. Fortunately, it can be enabled using registry keys.
This example is for Outlook 2016; change the version number as needed.
For 32 bit Outlook on 64bit Windows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security
DWORD: DisableCustomFormItemScript
Value: 0 (to enable)
If Outlook and Windows are the same bitness, add DisableCustomFormItemScript to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security
Next, you need to create a registry key for each message class that will contain scripts: For example, if the custom form is IPM.Contact.custom, you’ll need to create a key for it: In 64-bit Windows, the key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Forms\TrustedFormScriptList
Create string value using the custom form’s message class:
REG_SZ: IPM.Contact.custom
Leave the Value blank. Add a REG_SZ value for each form you have code behind.
If both Outlook and Windows are the same bitness, the key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Forms\TrustedFormScriptList
Add REG_SZ: IPM.Contact to enable ‘Run this Form’ during the design process. After the form is published, remember to add the form name to the registry too.
Important dates for Office 2007 users
Office 2007 has two important dates coming up, the first important date is October 10, 2017, which marks the end of the Extended support period. While this won’t affect ordinary users, the Office applications will continue to work, it does mean that security updates are unlikely to continue past that date.
Additionally, after October 31, 2017, anyone using Outlook 2007 with Office 365 Exchange online or Outlook.com will no longer be able to connect to the accounts using Microsoft Exchange services. While these users can use Outlook 2007 as an IMAP client, they will lose calendar and contact sync
It’s recommended that users upgrade to Office 2016 or switch to Outlook on the web. Other email clients that sync calendar and contacts include Windows 10 Mail client and eM, a third party email client.

Advanced Find is going away
Users with the Insider builds noticed that Advanced Find is missing. This isn’t a bug; it was intentionally removed in preparation for improvements in search coming later this year.
