Here's a request we see often:
I have a recurring appointment that is scheduled once a month, on the 4th Thursday. Is there a way to print just that series of appointments so I can see where it falls every month for the next year?
Unfortunately you cannot do this within Outlook. You can export the calendar to Excel and print from there. To make it easier, assign a category to the recurring item then filter the events in Excel before printing. Or create a new calendar folder and copy the recurring event to it, then export that folder.
Another option, if macros are enabled, is to use a macro to print the dates in a series. See How to print a list of recurring dates using VBA. To copy just a single occurrence to an appointment, see Copy Selected Occurrence to Appointment or Copy Recurring Appointment Series to Appointments to convert the series to appointments.
As is the case - when something works fine, developers do not pay attention and wipe it without ever realizing what they have done!!! This was a feature that worked previously - I know because i used it on a regular basis.
