If the BCM toolbar is not visible in Outlook, first check to verify that Outlook doesn't have it disabled.
If using Outlook 2013, to heck if Business Contact Manager is enabled:
- Go to File,Options, Addins
- Select the Disabled Items in the menu on the bottom right hand corner the click Go
- If Business Contact Manager is listed, click Enable
- Restart Outlook and the Business Tools should now be listed
If using Outlook 2010:
- Go to Help->About Microsoft Office Outlook
- Select the Disabled Items button on the bottom right hand corner
- If Business Contact Manager is listed, click Enable
- Restart Outlook and the Business Tools should now be listed

I have read thru the info below and you mentioned "if its not visible, it means that the BCM addins are not enabled. Go to file, Options, Addins - are the two BCM addins enabled?" On mine, the two BCM addins don't even show in the list of addins - any suggestions? Business Contact Manager said it was installed correctly and to open Outlook to finish setup but it's not there anywhere. Thanks,

are they in the disabled addin list? they definitely should be listed in one of the addin sections if its installed.

I had to do a system restore after installing Office 2016 and finding out BCM not supported. and lost my BCM and Office 2013. I have downloaded the complete bcm install and go through the entire install sequence and Microsoft says BCM installed when done and to go to Outlook to proceed. However, i go to Outlook and it isn't in the addins to turn on. Go to control panel and cannot see Business Contact manager on list of installed programs. Find files under Microsoft Small Business/business Contact Manager. Use to be programs installed under Microsoft folder. Using Windows 7 32 bit. I have tried deleting %temp% and reinstall several times so far and nothing is happening except writing programs to the "c" drive My old BCM data file is still there and I am trying to retrieve it. Any suggestions?

I have installed BCM on office 360 outlook. At first after installation it works find and is listed on the bottom navigation. If I close outlook and reopen then it has disappeared and doesn't work if I click on the file list on the left. Looking at the outlook options manage add-ins I see that BCM and BCM loader are inactive. If I make them active then outlook crashes and closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still occurs.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot find the BCM in my addins to enable. Do I need to connect it to the sql server first? What if the sql server is on a remote computer?
Diane Poremsky says
If installed, it should be listed in the addins, but will fail if sql is not available. So.. the first question is: did you install it? It's a separate installation.

BCM addin is not showing in either window. Maybe the download didn't install correctly? If that's the case, Can you provide the download link I should use to download then?
Diane Poremsky says
The download is here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36513

If the BCM toolbar is not visible in Outlook, how can you perform the first step which is enable Business Contact Manager...this doesn't make sense
Diane Poremsky says
if its not visible, it means that the BCM addins are not enabled. Go to file, Options, Addins - are the two BCM addins enabled?
