- Yahoo and AOL Passwords
Send Later on Outlook.com
A deferred send feature is coming to Outlook.com To use, click Send > Send Later and choose a date and time. You can type in the time field if you need a lime that is not listed.
When you send later, the message is moved to the Drafts folder until it is sent. But like the Outlook desktop feature, it has a problem with the sent date. When you look at the message in the Sent folder, the message list shows the time it was actually sent while the reading pane shows the time you hit Send.
The recipient will see the sent time as the time you hit Send.
The feature is not yet available on the business accounts in Outlook on the web. If you need it now, check out DeferredDelivery for Outlook 365 OWA
Office 365 Family Trial Updates
New subscribers to Office 365 Family or Personal may notice a change: Outlook.com premium features are missing. OneDrive and Skye premium features work but the larger mailbox, ad-free Outlook, and custom domains are not enabled.
When the trial ends and you start paying for Office 365, the premium features will be turned on.
Why did Microsoft make this change? Spammers were taking advantage of the trial’s Outlook.com update, which gives subscribers a higher daily send limit.

Outlook error: Something is wrong with your data files
Following a Windows update last week, some Outlook users had a never-ending error with Outlook data files always being reported as corrupt. After update Office, every time you open Outlook, you receive an error message: Something is wrong with one of your data files and Outlook needs to close. Outlook might be able to fix your file. Click OK to run the Inbox Repair Tool.
The Inbox Repair Tool (ScanPST) opens, appears to complete the file repair and yet, the error message won't go away.
This is reported as fixed in Monthly or Current channel, Build 12827.20470. If Office hasn’t updated yet, go to File > Office Account and click Update now.
If you are unable to update, you can delete two registry values, LastCorruptStore and PromptRepair, to fix it. These values are at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\PST
.
For more information or for a registry file that will remove the two values, see Outlook error: Something is wrong with your data files
Yahoo and AOL Passwords
I’m pretty sure I mentioned this before but after seeing a lot of questions about it this week, it bears repeating.
If you are unable to set up an Yahoo or AOL account in Outlook desktop, receiving an error that your username or password is wrong, try using an app password.
Log into your account security settings in Yahoo or AOL and click ‘Manage app passwords’ to create an app password. Copy the password and paste into Outlook’s password dialog. If you type it in, don’t include the spaces – they just make the password easier to read.
