ReliefJet Essentials for Outlook is a set of more than 160 tools for performing a wide range of tasks in Outlook: processing email messages, contacts, appointments, meetings, tasks and other Outlook items.
Today's Highlights:
- Coming Soon
- Clear Follow-up flags en masse
- Add images to signatures in Outlook on the web
- Government Cloud Accounts (GCC)
Coming Soon
We have a couple of new features coming soon to Outlook:
Tighter spacing option in the Message list. This option is available in the Insider build now and makes the message list a little more compact, allowing users to see more messages on the screen. On my computer, I can see 11 messages with the default spacing and 13 with the tighter spacing enabled, so its not a big difference, but I think it makes the message list look better.
Store my Outlook settings in the cloud. This is new in the latest Insider Fast build but isn’t working yet. Your guess is as good as mine as to what settings will be stored in the cloud. Remember, patience is a virtue: a Send to OneNote app for Windows 10 option was added a few months ago but isn’t working yet.
The Outlook mobile apps have new features rolling out, including the ability to view color categories. This is available only to customers using the updated Microsoft Exchange sync technology (which should be all Office 365 and Outlook.com accounts.)
Clear Follow-up flags en masse
A user had several thousand flagged messages that he wanted to remove the flags from and wondered if there was an easy way to do it.
Yes, there is an easy way. Use either instant search or a search folder to find all the flagged messages then and select all then right click and choose clear flag.
If you only want to remove the flags from the messages in the current folder, sort or group by the flag field, select, right click and Clear flag.
If you accidently clear flags can you restore the flags? Yes, you can do this by searching or sorting on the modified date field. All of the items with cleared flags will have the same modified time stamp.
Add images to signatures in Outlook on the web
A user wanted to add a new logo to his signature in Outlook on the web and couldn’t find a way to upload it.
The solution is simple: Open the image in Paint or your favorite image editor, select all and copy then paste into the signature field. Yes, that is all you need to. This method works to insert images into email too.
You can use the same method for images stored on web servers or HTML: open the image in a browser, select the image, copy, and paste.

Government Cloud Accounts (GCC)
An update to Outlook app for Android and iOS caused problems for some government users last week. Microsoft made a change to the government cloud accounts (GCC) and unfortunately, it caused problems for Outlook mobile users, removing their personal account from Outlook or preventing them from adding work email accounts until updated mobile apps were released.
Admins can read more about GCC, the tenant setting, and non-FedRAMP compliant features here : Using Outlook for iOS and Android in the Government Community Cloud

Search Calendars for Appointments
A user had a number of calendars, both in his own mailboxes plus a handful of shared calendars. While Outlook can search all of the calendars, he wanted an easy way to restrict the searches to specific calendars and also see which calendar the appointment was on. The solution: a macro.
