The Folder List is normally in alphabetical order. If instead the last used folder you used moves to the top of the Folder List, it means that the language setting on your computer is probably different from that on the Exchange Server. To fix it, use the Regional Settings applet in Control Panel to change the language on your computer, then restart your system.
In Outlook 2010 with multiple accounts, the folder list is sorted with the default account first then the other accounts in alphabetical order. Within each folder list, the default folders are first and the user-created folders follow in alphabetical order.
In Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2010, the Favorites Folder section is not sorted – the user arranges the folders in the desired order. Select a folder and drag to rearrange or right click and use the Move up and Move down commands.
