The methods listed on this page use web services to keep your data synced
between multiple copies of Outlook and an internet service. In many
cases, you also can view the data online from any computer.
Web storage services keep Outlook mail, contacts, calendar,
tasks and notes synced with the server. (Not all services sync all types of Outlook items.)
They can synchronize with your computer, so you can use it to keep
updated no matter where in the world you are, as long as you have
Internet access and a browser. Be sure to download the
synchronization software for your service. For

Not listed is Office Live
(formerly OutlookLive) and Live
Hotmail. These services work with Hotmail Live and MSN email
addresses or you can get your own domain name with the service. They
use the Outlook connector to sync calendar, contacts, and email
between Outlook and the Live servers.
Another option is a Hosted Exchange account. These generally run
about $10.00 a month, although some are as low as $5.
Online address book service that keeps other members of the service updated with changes in your contact information. Includes storage of your Outlook contacts online (useful as backup, for browser access, or for synchronizing between multiple machines). Available in a free personal version, plus professional and corporate editions.
Synchronizing Microsoft Outlook on two or more machines. Share Outlook folders with your coworkers, friends and families. Outlook Web Access (OWA) without Microsoft Exchange Server and more.
SYNCING.NET for Outlook is a full featured solution for synchronization of Microsoft Outlook data between multiple computers. All data is transmitted directly between the computers via LAN/WLAN and/or the internet (peer-to-peer). Once selected, the Outlook data is synchronized completely automatically. Users don't need to do anything more and can work with Outlook as usual. Any changes to Outlook items are transferred immediately to all members of the sync network.
Web site software to synchronize calendar, contact, task, and other data to Outlook or Palm Desktop. Site visitors will need to install a small plug-in. SDK available for developers who want to drive synchronization from a database.
Also available are an Address Book and Notepad You will need to sign up for a free Yahoo! ID first. You can share the web-based calendar read-only with other Yahoo! users you specify or make it public to anyone. To synchronize, click the Options link at the top of the Yahoo! Calendar window, then the Synchronize link to download free Intellisync for Yahoo! software.
