A user asked:

How do I save a message to My Documents when using OWA?

Since OWA doesn't have a Save Message command, you need to use your browser's Save as command and save the message in HTML, MHT, or Text format.

To do this, click on the Print button to open the message in a browser window. If you have a PDF or other electronic document printer installed, you could print the message, otherwise cancel the print.

If you are using Internet Explorer, press Alt to display the browser Menu bar and choose File, Save as.

If you are using Outlook client, you can easily save message to the Window's file system : How to Save Email in Windows File System

OWA doesn't have a multiple save method - you'd need to download the messages into Outlook to do that.

I am using Outlo0ok web access for my company emails through a browser (Chrome/IE/Firefox).. There are mails which at times I would like to save and attach/insert in document (wrod/excel), also need to attach the email as an attachment to another email. how can I save these emails and attach them. Outlook used on desktop does have this feature but no saving email feature on Outlook web access. kindly guide

Just drag the e-mail from the left panel onto a "new e-mail message" window. It will load as an attachment to the new message. Then click on the arrow and download or simply finish composing your message and send with the e-mail attached to it.

I'm still curious about the fact that messages nowadays contain different elements like meeting invitations, feedbacks, read receipts, attachments etc.
Isn't there a way to download a message as a .msg file?

You need to use Outlook desktop to download the message as an msg file. If pop3 or imap is enabled on your account, you could use other software to download, but the message format won't be msg (which may or may not matter).

THANK YOU, you saved me precious time! After looking and looking for a way to save the message, I was copying the text from the printable view, then pasting to a blank Word document, then saving the document. Thank you again!

Marta, there is a simple way to download and save the message in outlook format. Just drag the e-mail from the left panel onto a "new e-mail message" window. It will load as an attachment to the new message. Then click on the arrow and download or simply finish composing your message and send with the e-mail attached to it.
