Create a meeting from an email conversation
There is no arguing that Outlook is loaded with features. While Microsoft tries to make the features discoverable, they aren’t always obvious or easy to find. This includes some features that have been in Outlook for years, yet a lot of people don't know they exist.
A user asked “It would be useful to create a meeting based on an email. The body would be the body of the meeting.”
Another user wanted to know how to reply with a meeting.
Ok. That’s easy enough to do. Open the message, look on the Message menu for Meeting button and click to create a meeting addressed to everyone on the email, with the message body in the meeting body. If you prefer using keyboard shortcuts, the Reply with Meeting command has one: Ctrl+Alt+R.
If you need to make an appointment using the email, not a meeting, drag the message to the Calendar. This will create a new appointment with the email body in the appointment body.
Outlook’s Use Tighter Spacing
The recent Office 365 update for subscriptions added more padding in the message list and in the To/CC/Subject header. The extra space makes it easy for fat fingers on a touch screen but wastes a lot of screen space for everyone else, reducing the number of message visible in the message list.
You can turn this off and return the message list and new message header to the approximate size they were in the previous build.
Look in the View menu for Use Tighter Spacing. When Tighter spacing is enabled, the button will be highlighted.
This will remove the padding around the To, CC, and Subject fields and in the Message list, returning the header area to the original size, although without the outlines around the To, CC, and Subject fields.

Unread Message Count Position
One of the changes in the recent update to Office 365, changed the position of the unread message count in Outlook’s folder list, from following the folder name to right justified.
I’m somewhat surprised at the number of people who complained about it. It really doesn’t look all that much different on my computer. I have long folder names and a fairly narrow folder list so the unread (or total) count position didn’t change much, but does look a little neater.
For those who don't like it, unfortunately, the position of the unread count is not a user option.
