To show birthdays for a particular month

MVP Ben Schorr offers this procedure:

  1. Go to the Calendar Folder.
  2. Switch to the Annual Events view.
  3. Create a filter (in Outlook 97, View | Filter; in Outlook 98 or Outlook 2000, View | Current View | Customize Current View | Filter) to search for the word "Birthday" in the Subject field.
  4. In the Filter dialog box, switch to the Advanced tab.
  5. From the Field list, choose All Appointment Fields | Recurrence Pattern. Set Condition to "contains." For the Value, type the name of the month you're interested in.
  6. Click OK, and you'll see a list of all of the birthdays in your calendar during that month.
