Reset the New Outlook Profile
If you are in the Office Insider program and are in the Beta or Preview channel of Office, you will have an option for Try the New Outlook on the right side of Outlook's title bar. This switches on the new Outlook app, codenamed "One Outlook" or "Monarch". Yes, it looks like Outlook on the web, because it shares much of the codebase with Outlook on the web.
Tip: Pin it to the Task bar then switch it off and you can use either or both Outlooks, including at the same time
When you switch on the new Outlook, it pulls accounts in from your Outlook profile. You can add or remove accounts from the Settings > Mail > Accounts dialog.
If you want to start over with a fresh profile, resetting the app will not remove the profile. You need to close the new Outlook, open the Run command (Windows key + R) and type or paste this command line. Note, there is a space before the two dashes -- and yes, you use two dashes.
olk.exe --clearLocalState
This deletes your profile and when you open the new Outlook, you'll need to add your account. Add additional accounts from the Settings dialog.
At this time it supports multiple Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 business Exchange accounts. Support for Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo accounts will be in a future update.
For more information on the new Outlook, see Microsoft's article Getting started with the new Outlook for Windows
If you aren't in the Insider program but want to try it, you can download the new Outlook app from here.
Outlook's Updated Signature dialog
Recent updates enabled the new signature dialog for Office 365 subscribers and signatures are now synced to the cloud. While this is convenient for users with multiple computers as the signature is synced to each computer, some users are having problems with the signatures disappearing or not working correctly.
The solution: disable roaming signatures by setting a registry key.
Start typing regedit on the start menu and open the registry editor when it comes up. Browser to the following key, right click in the white area on the right, choosing New > DWORD. Paste the DWORD in as the name, then right click on it and choose modify, changing the value to 1.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Setup
DWORD: DisableRoamingSignaturesTemporaryToggle
Value: 1
Error signing into Outlook using Outlook.com
Some users report a confusing error when they try to sign into an Outlook.com account when it worked fine previously:
"You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead."
This error is triggered when you use support diagnostics. The solution: turn support diagnostics off.
Start typing regedit on the start menu and open the registry editor when it comes up. Browser to the following key, right click in the white area on the right, choosing New > DWORD. Paste the DWORD in as the name, then right click on it and choose modify, changing the value to 1.
To turn diagnostics off, you need to set this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General
DWORD: DisableSupportDiagnostics
Value: 1
Coming Soon: Microsoft 365 Basic
Microsoft is re-releasing their "ad-free Outlook" offering as Microsoft 365 Basic. They are selling it as a lower cost "premium" Office subscription and will be available on Jan. 30, 2023. Look for it on the new website: https://www.microsoft365.com/
Pricing for Microsoft 365 Basic is $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. You can purchase it from the Microsoft site or through links in OneDrive and Outlook apps.
For $20 a year, you'll get the premium Outlook.com features – including no ads and a larger mailbox but I don't know yet if it will include the ability to add a personalized email address. You'll also get 100GB in OneDrive and the "premium" versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Online.
It's really not a bad deal if you need more mailbox and storage space and want ad-free Outlook but don't want or need the Office software subscription.

Delete Old Calendar Events using VBA
I have a Days of the Year HOL file that creates all day events that count the days of the year, up and down "Day 5: 360 to go" but as the days are past, I don't need to know what day it was and prefer a cleaner calendar. While it's easy enough to delete
