Days of the Year HOL File
By popular request, I added a new holiday file for the days of the year, for 2023 through 2028 at Add Holidays to Outlook's Calendar Each year is a separate "location" so you can choose which years you want to add.
The article also has instructions on how to create your own HOL file.
To use the HOL file, download the HOL file and double click to open it in Outlook's Add Holidays dialog. Choose the years the click Add.
Tip: If your dates follow a pattern, you can use Excel to create the dates then save as CSV. For the Days of the Year file, the subject is in this format: "Day 5: 360 to go". I use 2 columns for the subject so I can drag to fill. Then I use a formula to concatenate the two columns so I can copy and Paste Special as Value to get the desired subject.
To declutter my calendar, I use a macro that deletes older Days of the Year but you can use a list view and sort by location to delete any or all Days of the Year events. You can also use Search - location:"days of the year" start:<12/10/2022 - to find the events then delete them.
Delete Old Appointments
If you have old appointments you want to remove from the calendar, such as the Days of the Year events from the previous article, you can use Search to find them, then delete. You can also use a list view and sort or group by location or category fields to find the events, then delete.
It's pretty quick to delete events this way, but if you have events, such as the Days of the Year, and want to remove older items frequently, you can use a macro to search and delete the events. The macro generally takes just seconds to run.
The macro is here: Delete Old Calendar Events using VBA
I have two samples – one deletes the Days of the year events, the second one deletes past Microsoft 365 focused time events.
Edit or Remove Connected Accounts in Outlook.com
Users with connected accounts in Outlook.com who are receiving messages that they need to update their account information discovered they are unable to edit or delete the connected account if it is first in the list.
If there is more than one account, the additional accounts can be edited or deleted, only the first account in the list is affected by this bug.
Until it is fixed, users need to contact Outlook.com support to remove the account.
Please note: this feature was removed from Outlook.com in May 2021. Only accounts that had connected accounts at that time still have the option enabled. However, when the last account is removed, the feature goes away.
To contact Outlook.com support:
Log into Outlook.com on the web using a PC or Mac. (You need to use the desktop site if you log in from a mobile device.)
Click the ? icon to open the Help menu.
Type a question. Scroll to the end of the research results and click Yes for Still need help?.

New Outlook on Mac & On My computer folders
"On my computer folders" are (finally!) in the beta channel of the new Outlook for Mac. Hopefully, it won't be long before they make into the current channel builds.
When you first open Outlook, it offers to import the On my computer folders from a legacy profile or you can import the folder later, from the File menu.
Calendar Printing Bug in Outlook on the web
Printing a calendar from Outlook on the web is not working correctly in Edge or Chrome. With most of the dates and all appointments missing.
Firefox does not appear to be affected, so users can use it to print.
