Copilot in Microsoft 365
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Microsoft added Copilot to the Personal and Family subscriptions (it came with a price increase).
A user wanted to know if they could use Copilot with other accounts as well within the Outlook desktop app. They specifically wanted to use it with both their Outlook.com account and their Gmail account.
No, Copilot won't work with email in the other mailboxes; it only works with the account that has the subscription. If you move the mail into the Outlook.com mailbox, Copilot will work on it.
I have not heard if it is planned for a future update, but if it ever is added as a feature, it would be limited to new Outlook, not classic Outlook, because new Outlook stores the mail in the Microsoft cloud, where it could be processed by Copilot. Classic Outlook stores POP and IMAP mail in files not connected to an Outlook.com mailbox.
Shared Calendars and Categories
When you share a calendar with another user, either in an Exchange business account or in Outlook.com, as long as the permissions are sufficient that the other person can see your event details, they will see the categories assigned to the events, although maybe not the category color.
In order to see the category colors, the calendar needs to be shared with “Full Details” read permissions, which in Microsoft 365 is at least “Can view all details”. In an Exchange on-prem server or when using the older permissions dialog, it is “Reviewer” permission.
Outlook.com accounts have only two choices for permissions, either “Can edit” or “Can view all details”, both of which include full details permissions. Therefore, Outlook.com users should always see your category colors (and see the category names on category menu when looking in your calendar).
In business accounts, the person you shared the calendar with won’t see the category colors (unless they have the same category in their master Category list) if they don't have a permission level that includes full details.

Exchange email errors in iOS mail app
There is an ongoing issue affecting some Exchange online users (both business and Outlook.com) where the iOS app won’t sync mail and keeps asking for a password.
Microsoft is aware of the issue and is working on fixing it.
Microsoft 365 Admins can check the status of the bug at in Service health at the Microsoft 365 admin center
When the app pops up a dialog for you to log in, click Edit Settings then exit the Settings dialog. It’s not permanent, but has allowed me download email. I usually enter my password, then it asks for the password again and I go back to mail without entering the password again.
The other option is using the Outlook mobile app instead of the iOS app.
