Updates for Office2016 Previews
Both the Windows and Mac versions of Office 2016 released updates today.
Updated versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are available at Office 2016 for Mac Preview – May 27, 2015 update. This update contains stability and bug fixes.
Office 2016 for Windows released an update, to version 16.0.4027.1008. To install from any Office application, go to File, Account (Office Account in Outlook) and check for updates. As with the Mac update, it contains bug fixes and improves stability. The Black color theme is more refined and blacker. (It's starting to look pretty good, better than the grays.)
If you'd like to join the Office preview program and have a subscription to Office 365 software, you can download it from your account's Software page.
For Home subscriptions: Go to the My Account page at Office.com. Click Language and install options, then Additional install options. Open the Version drop-down menu and select the 32-bit or 64-bit Office 2016 Preview.
Business accounts: If your administrator enabled the First Release program, install Office 2016 Preview from the My Software page (Gear icon, Office 365 Settings). Go to Try the next version of Office then click Install.
