An Office 365 user complained that he couldn't use backspace in Outlook on the web when he opened his account in Microsoft Edge. (Both Exchange online and Outlook.com after affected, although only a small subset of users of either service have this issue.)
Users with problem can choose from one of two workarounds to fix the backspace problem and may fix other similar annoying problems:
- Use another browser if possible (backspace works in Chrome and Internet Explorer).
- If you can't use another browser, don't maximize the Edge window you are using Outlook on the web in.
I have the same issue. Only in outlook express my backspace key only works while holding shift.
What operating system are you using? What keyboard & drivers do you have installed? Have you rebooted since the problem started?
I am having the same problem ..... this is very off putting in terms of wanting to use Edge.
Do you have all updates installed? I thought this might be fixed, although the updates added other problems (such as with printing).
