The Office 2011 for Mac update includes some fixes for Outlook. My favorite is Outlook 2011 now asks if you want to return read receipts when you use an Exchange server email account. You can't request read receipts when you send email in Outlook 2011, but it no longer silently returns receipts when a sender requests them. This feature change made it into Outlook 2000, after a person (who shall remain nameless) spammed members of the beta team with read receipts because she did not like it that Outlook automatically returned read receipts. Ah, those were the days.
When you read a message that has a read receipt, Outlook 2011 will display a dialog box that looks like this:
If you check the box to Don't ask me about sending receipts again and later change your mind, the alert (as well as all other alerts dismissed with 'don't show this again' checked) can be enabled again from Outlook > Preferences > Notifications and Sounds. Click the Reset Alerts button at the bottom of the dialog box to reset all alerts.
Other changes in functionality include:
- Outlook.com and Yahoo! accounts will now be set up as IMAP, not POP3, when you let Outlook 2011 create the account for you. (Accounts already set up in Outlook 2011 are not affected.)
- Conversation threading is better, with Outlook 2011 using the In-Reply-To and Reference fields in mail headers when deciding what messages belonged together in the Conversation views.
- Issues connecting to Exchange server when using a proxy server were fixed.

Help! I need to find emails in the pst's I imported from Windows to my iMac OS X 10.9.4. I've got pst's, backups of those pst's and backups of those backups! How to get these emails all into one pst and find the dups?
You need to import each one in outlook, then you need to use a duplicate finder utility - but I'm not sure if there are any for the mac.
