A user wanted to know if he could access his Exchange 2010 archive mailbox using active sync.
No, its not possible. Although the archive mailbox is separate mailbox and some mobile devices support multiple Exchange accounts, it is limited to primary Exchange mailboxes, not secondary mailboxes. Plus, it's not very efficient to load old messages on a device with limited storage space and limited bandwidth. If you need mobile access to the mail, don't archive it.

If you go to setting in chrome and select request desktop site then go to owa it will work. You just need to uncheck Use the light version of Outlook Web App before logging in. Ive confirmed it works with IOS chrome version 50.0.2661.95.
I have iphone 4 which i configured my exchange mail, it shows archive without any issues. Why can't from windows phones?
Thanks

This is an Archive mailbox or an Archive pst file? How do you sync with the phone? I have an ipad and sync over the air with my exchange server but don't get the archive mailbox. :( If you sync using iTunes, you can sync folders on the computer.
