A new version of Outlook Hotmail Connector is available and is getting pushed out to users as an automatic upgrade. This upgrade is required if you want to continue using Outlook to access Hotmail Live accounts.
We’re seeing a lot of reports about the install going into an endless loop. This was somewhat common in older versions as well – the fix is:
- Close outlook
- Uninstall the older version (not required, but I prefer to do it)
- Download and install the new connector yourself.
- Restart Outlook.
