with new features or by fixing bugs. Below you'll find a
partial list. Where the two different Outlook
98 modes use different techniques, these are marked
with
IMO = Internet Mail Only mode
C/W = Corporate/Workgroup mode

You can have multiple signatures for each
different e-mail format (HTML, Plain Text, Rich Text). For
details, ask the Office Assistant for the Help topic on Create
a signature for messages.

IMO: Click on the Name
column.
C/W:
- Choose Tools | Services.
- In the Services dialog, display the
properties for the Outlook Address Book.
- Under Show names as, choose either First
Last or File As.

Background
send and receive |
IMO: Messages are always
sent and received in the background, so you can carry on
with your work in Outlook.
C/W: Messages are sent and received in
the background for scheduled connections. If you click
Send and Receive, you can still work in Outlook, but it's
a little sluggish.

No reminder
default on appointments |
Turn off reminders by default by choosing Tools
| Options, then clearing the Default
reminder box on the Preferences tab.
