Microsoft Outlook 97 version 8.02

Outlook 97 is no longer a supported Microsoft product. See Office Family Products Support Lifecycle FAQ.

Outlook 97 version 8.02 was part of Office 97 Service Release 1 and Microsoft Exchange Server 5.0 Service Pack 1. If you bought a new copy of Office 97 and the box had an "Optimized for MMX" logo, you got the  SR-1 version, including Outlook 8.02.

We recommend, however, that, if you want to upgrade Outlook 97, you update not to 8.02 but to Outlook 97 version 8.04, which is probably the final version of Outlook 97 and the only Year 2000-compatible version. Features and fixes in version 8.02 are listed here for the record.
