Outlook Configuration Analyzer Tool

Last reviewed on February 23, 2012

Microsoft released a configuration analyzer tool for Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010. Similar to the Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer, the results include installed add-ins, installed Office updates, and the accounts that are in your profile. It does not include account configuration (ie, server names), although it would be great if it did.

The report also includes errors found in the event viewer and problems that it found in your profile along with links to possible fixes. The reports can be saved and viewed on other computers.
