One of the things that is constantly improving is the reporting available in Office 365. You'll find all of the latest reports under the Reports option when you visit the Office 365 admin center.
What Microsoft has also now started to incorporate is the ability to send reports via email on a scheduled basis.
At this point in time, the ability to schedule reports is only available for mail protection reports.
Simply select one of these report to display the current status report.
On the right you'll see a hyperlink Schedule this report. Select this.
Enter an email address to send the report to as well customizing the Sender and Recipient if desired. Then select the Schedule option from the left hand side.
Select the desired delivery options and then press the Save button in the lower right of the window.
You will be returned to the report screen.
>
You can view the schedule of reports to be sent by now selecting the View scheduled reports link.
Here you can now edit any existing report as well create new reports directly if desired.
Moving forward we expect to see the ability to send more Office 365 reports by email on a regular basis. We are also expecting to see more of Office 365 analytics being made available via a connection to PowerBI.
