Fax Modem Settings in Microsoft Fax |
| | If your fax modem
needs a particular setup string to work, you must enter it
through the Windows Registry. Make a backup of the
registry first, then run Regedit and look for the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\At Work Fax\Local Modems Under that key, you should see a key that begins with TAPI for each of the modems installed on your system. Under that TAPI* key, you can enter values for PreAnswerCommand, PreDialCommand, ResetCommand and SetupCommand. |
