Miscellaneous Tools for Exchange Server

 
The following are tools for use with Exchange server.

Tools

CDBOutlookCorporate Tools Plugin   Offers “Reply As Folder” functionality with option to force the use of the From address when replying as folder (controlled centrally). Sent items can be filed in a sent items sub folder. Appends Company Signature based on sender domain Suffix. By default, it blocks external mail sending except From group folders. Has centralized application management and error logging. Trial version available.
CodeTwo Exchange Rules   CodeTwo Exchange Rules software enables easy and central defining of disclaimers added to all e-mails sent via Microsoft Exchange server. Use Exchange Rules to add different disclaimers depending on a message sender's address or domain to e-mails, to add personalized disclaimers containing sender's data available in the Active Directory database to e-mails. New features include the abiliy to insert images into disclaimers and insert the disclaimer directly under the response text in replies and forwarded messages. Free trial.
Decision Support Panel   Data warehouse client that makes it incredibly easy to perform OLAP analyses from within Outlook and send them either as interactive XML messages to other Outlook users or HTML messages to any HTML mail client.
Exchange Connector   Symprex Exchange Connector provides user, group and calendar synchronization and data replication between Exchange server and external databases in real-time. Use it for developing in-house or third-party applications that utilize calendar data from Outlook and Exchange without the need to code directly against Exchange. Features include real-time synchronization and true Windows service for optimal security and performance. It includes a built-in database but also supports Access, SQL Server, MSDE 2000 and XML. Symprex's client-based Outlook group calendar add-on LOOK can work with this service to offer real-time views. Works with Exchange 5.5, 2000 and 2003 and all Outlook versions. An evaluation version is available.
IMI Mailbox Statistics   IMI Mailbox Statistics for Microsoft Exchange Server is small utility for Exchange Admin to get, print and export (inventory) Mailbox resources statistics, intended to cover the lack of print capabilities in the current version of the Exchange Admin.
Kernel Recovery for OST   Kernel Recovery for OST is an Exchange ost recovery tool to recover emails from Microsoft Exchange offline storage (.ost) files that are not usable due to exchange account deletion or some other reason.
Microsoft Transporter Suite   Transporter Suite contains a set of tools for migrations from both Lotus Domino Servers, and generic IMAP/POP sources. For Lotus Domino the suite contains a set of tools for Directory and Free/Busy interoperability between Lotus Domino 6 or 7 and Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Server 2003 Active Directory. In addition for Lotus Domino the suite contains migration tools to migrate users, groups, personal address lists, mailboxes, personal mail archives, and applications from Lotus Domino 5, 6 or 7 to Active Directory, Exchange Server 2007, and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. For generic POP/IMAP servers the suite contains a set of tools to bulk migrate mailboxes from any generic email servers that support the POP3 or IMAP4 protocol to mailboxes in Exchange Server 2007
PerfectDisk for Exchange   PerfectDisk for Exchange is an automated compaction/defragmentation solution for Microsoft Exchange data stores. It helps you reclaim valuable disk space for your Exchange servers and maintain optimal Exchange performance by automating the offline compaction/defragmentation process.
SAFEspace   Document-sharing environment built on the Exchange 2000 storage system. Documents receive different security classifications and categories, and users can see only those documents that match their security clearance level and authorized categories. Supports business rules that require documents to be transmitted in digitally signed or encrypted formats.
Update for daylight saving time changes in 2007 for Exchange 2003   This update addresses the daylight saving time (DST) changes in 2007, is for use with servers running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and the time zone update for Windows. An update for Exchange 2000 or 5.5 will not be made public because both versions are no longer supported, administrators will need to contact their account manager for more information.
Zimbra   Zimbra is an open source server and client technology for enterprise messaging and collaboration. Zimbra is compatible with existing infrastructure and applications (both open source and proprietary). Zimbra is open source in order to leverage the collective talent of the greater community, and to ensure investment protection for Zimbra partners and end-users. Supports over-the-air sync for wireless devices.
