A new feature in Outlook 2010 checks the message size and if its larger than your Exchange server allows, or 20 MB for SMTP accounts, Outlook alerts you and won't add the attachment to the message. While this is great idea for many users as it keeps an oversized message from typing up bandwidth or preventing other messages from sending, there are two problems surfacing.
Some times the most annoying errors are impossible to figure out, unless it happens to you. In that case, you probably solved it by happenchance. That's how it is with this annoyance.
I wasn’t planning on writing every article about Outlook 2010 in this issue, but I thought I should mention a bug in Quick Steps.
If you have a profile with only POP3, IMAP, or Outlook connector accounts and attempt to create a quick step that sends a message, when you press the To button, it brings up the Windows Address book. (Oops!)
Exchange Server 2010 SP1 Beta incorporates a
number of feature updates including: archiving
and discovery enhancements, a faster Outlook Web
App (OWA), upgraded mobility features, and
several improvements in the management UI.
As with all betas, it should not be installed on
production systems.
