Greetings! Welcome to issue #14 of Exchange Messaging Outlook (formerly Exchange Center Update), an occasional newsletter about Microsoft Exchange, Windows Messaging and Microsoft Outlook, both for users of Windows 95 and NT 4.0 and for organizations using Exchange Server.
Today's highlights:
Regular features:
New WAB to PAB/Outlook Contacts techniques
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (developers' release, not intended for production use) includes a new version of Outlook Express (formerly Internet Mail) that supports export from the Windows Address Book .wab files to the Exchange/Outlook Personal Address Book. Be aware that a few people are reporting oddities running Microsoft Outlook with MSIE 4.0, especially with various add-ons. Get MSIE 4.0 from http://www.microsoft.com/ie/ie40/.
If you have Outlook and don't want to get MSIE 4.0, you can use the new vReader (http://www.microsoft.com/OfficeFreeStuff/outlook/default.htm) to create Microsoft Outlook contacts by from vCards exported from Microsoft Internet Mail's Windows Address Book (build 1160 or later).

Cool Add-ins moves to the Exchange Center
The Cool Add-ins for Microsoft Exchange pages have moved to the Slipstick Systems Exchange Center. You can now find this directory-style listing of Exchange and Outlook utilities at http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/add-ins.htm. Many, many thanks to Anthony Humphreys for starting and maintaining these pages for so long and for allowing us to give them a good second home. Our best wishes go to Anthony as he pursues other interests.
Once we do a little work to bring the Cool Add-ins up to date, you'll be able to access them through the main Exchange Center page.

How to add a graphic to your Microsoft Outlook AutoSignature
Look in your Windows folder for an .rtf file that matches the name of your Outlook profile, e.g. Outlook Settings.rtf. Open this in WordPad or Word. Now, use a graphics program to open the graphic and copy it to the Clipboard. Go back to the .rtf file, and paste in the graphic. Then close and save the .rtf file.
