Service Pack 2 for Exchange Server 2000 is available for download
here.
The same download updates both Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange
2000 Enterprise Server.
You
can also
order SP2 on CD. It includes the Outlook 2002 client (and
possibly also the Outlook 2001:Mac client -- we're still checking.)
See How to Order
Microsoft Outlook 2002 for Use with Exchange 2000 for more
information specifically on Outlook 2002.
You must install Windows 2000 Service Pack 2
before installing Exchange 2000 SP2. You cannot remove SP2 without
removing and restoring Exchange to the original system state. SP2
upgrades databases to a new version. For other critical issues that
you should consider when planning your SP2 rollout, see:

OWA and Other Client Updates
|
For Outlook Web Access, you must upgrade front-end servers to SP2
before upgrading OWA back-end servers. Some improvements require
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. OWA improvements in SP2
include:
Support for distribution lists in contacts folders
Log off button (though users still need to close browser windows
to truly log off)
Ability to turn various interface elements on and off
Better keyboard support -- Pressing the Delete key deletes;
pressing Esc closes a window. Home, End, and other navigation keys
also work.
New Search icon
New mail notification
and calendar reminders
Improvements to the
calendar and folder tree controls
Calendar printing
