Seasonal and Christmas-themed Outlook Addins

Last reviewed on December 6, 2013   —  No comments yet

Ablebits released three free Christmas-themed add-ins. One, a Christmas countdown clock, was available last season as well. The two new add-ins, a Note and To Do pane available in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and an Important Mail alert pane in the message list, could prove useful all year long.

Also included on this Tools list are utilities for other holidays and events, such as the Olympics and March Madness calendar schedules.

Christmas Day Countdown for Outlook

There's no chance you can miss Christmas bustle with little add-in. It will not only keep the good mood, let you hear a Christmas song and Santa's message, it will also help you create a mailing list for your Christmas cards, Christmas shopping lists, arrange a holiday meeting or event in Microsoft Outlook. And of course you can send a message to Santa.

Important Mail Alert for Outlook

This free plugin will notify you every time an important email comes. You just enter some text, e.g. a name, email or some words from a subject or body, and the add-in alerts you once an e-mail containing that text arrives. The alert will come on top of all other open programs, so you will never miss it! The add-in can find a message in any Inbox folder, even if it gets to Junk, or is moved to some other folder by your Outlook rule. It works with Outlook 2003 - 2010 and Exchange servers.
