This page lists applications that are built on the Exchange Storage System (formerly called the Web Storage System) introduced in Microsoft Exchange 2000. Some may also work with SharePoint Portal Server, which shares the same storage system.

Two big differences between Exchange Storage System applications and Exchange public folder applications is that Exchange store applications are accessible only via a web browser and cannot used offline.

Kernel for Exchange Server

Kernel for Exchange Server is an email recovery software which recovers corrupt, damaged, deleted emails from Exchange Server database files. The edb recovery software efficiently converts corrupt .EDB files to working .PST files through which emails of MS Exchange Server can be viewed with Microsoft Outlook email client.
